Portonblimp Down Episode 2 – A Tale By Boris Johnson by Craig Murray

April 10, 2018

“Comrade Putin, we have successfully stockpiled novichoks in secret for ten years, and kept them hidden from the OPCW inspectors. We have also trained our agents in secret novichok assassination techniques. The programme has cost hundreds of millions of dollars, but now we are ready. Naturally, the first time we use it we will expose our secret and suffer massive international blowback. So who should be our first target? The head of a foreign intelligence agency? A leading jihadist rebel in Syria? A key nuclear scientist? Even a Head of State?”

“No, Tovarishch. There is this old retired guy I know living in Salisbury. We released him from jail years ago…”

“With respect Comrade Putin, are you sure he is the most important target to reveal a programme we have put so much resource into for ten years?”

“Yes. I sit here every day and I cannot concentrate on the affairs of Russia or the World as all the time am thinking of Sergei Skripal. I should never have let him out of jail to spend his life buying lottery tickets and eating in Zizzis. But you must make absolutely certain to kill him.”

“Don’t worry Comrade Putin, we have been training in secret novichok assassination techniques for ten years. We even have a detailed manual explaining our methods. We will spread the novichok on his outside door handle (fiendish laugh).”

“Are you sure comrade? Is there not a danger it will wash off or get diluted?”

“No Comrade Putin, it never rains in England.”

That is, genuinely, in every detail the official British government version of what happened in Salisbury, including the ten year programme and the secret assassination manual.

Despite this story being one of the most improbably wild conspiracy theories in human history, it is those who express any doubt at all as to its veracity who are smeared as “conspiracy theorists” or even “traitors”.

Saudi Oil Masterstroke

December 1, 2014

Last week Saudi Arabia blocked a proposal by the other OPEC members to curtail oil production, sending oil prices plummeting around the world.

Claims are oil prices could fall even as low as $50 a barrel or even below that.

This is very, very bad news for much of the oil extraction sector in North America and also for various LNG schemes now being considered there and has Western governments in a state of panic.

The point is even at $70 a barrel (i) fracking oil operations become unprofitable, (ii) the only thing Canada’s tar sand oil industry can do is to commit mass suicide, (iii) Mexican gulf offshore rigs are likewise an exercise in futility.

Thus, you can argue it took Saudi Arabia one veto to put the entire North American energy industry in jeopardy.

To make things worse Saudi Arabia has over $700 billion in cash reserves and can sustain low oil prices for years if not decades — the equivalent of a control shot to the head of North America’s indigenous oil industry — to make sure it never rears its (fracking ugly) head ever again.

[Whether Saudi Arabia is prepared to go that far (or whether it will be allowed to) is another matter and beside the point.]

Also, oil multinationals such as BP or Shell are the biggest sources of tax revenues in quite a number of Western nations, certainly in Britain, and are major employers to boot. But now, with their profits decimated, the economy of, say, Britain will lose billions, potentially exacerbating their already overwhelming debt problems and causing all sorts of economic and social mayhem.

In fact, along with the United States and Canada, Britain is likely to be the hardest hit by the oil price collapse — its North Sea oil industry, the biggest source of revenue, will be devastated.

Either of the two things will happen now.

Either there will be a concerted effort to drive oil prices much higher (using all means available) — at least to $100 per barrel — that’s where Canada’s tar sands become mildly profitable;

Or we will witness a crisis in the United States, Britain, other Western nations (which are emerging freaking fracking oil and/or gas producers) and maybe in much of the world the likes of which we have never seen — with energy companies and banks and financial institutions exposed to them collapsing in numbers with millions thrown out of jobs and left with no sources of income.

The 2008 crisis will look tame in comparison.

Make your pick… pick your poison.

Last Stand of Monroe Isadore

November 7, 2013

The Last Stand of Monroe Isadore, 107

On September 07, 2013, a 107-year-old man was shot dead in Arkansas, the United States, by a SWAT team. Local authorities claim the centenarian was killed after he refused to surrender.

Monroe Isadore, 107, had quarreled with his two much younger relatives because he didn’t want to move out of his own house, something his relatives were planning for him to do. The two relatives then alleged Isadore had pointed a gun at them and called 911.

The police arrived on scene. Confused and scared, Isadore decided nevertheless to defend his home and his right to stay in it, stood his ground and shot through the door at police officers who beat a hasty retreat and called for backup, namely a SWAT team.

Having failed to reach an agreement with the old man, SWAT officers then gave him the Auschwitz treatment — by feeding gas into his room through a bedroom window they hoped to subdue the old-timer; however it only added to Isadore’s confusion and fear but failed to render the free-spirited old man docile or obedient.

Though terrified, the old-timer then had his last stand opening fire on invading heavily-armed SWAT goons, probably thinking he was being attacked by terrorists or something.

Faced with such resolute resistance, the SWAT officers broke down the door to the bedroom and threw in a grenade or some other such device.

Despite this, Isadore continued shooting at the break-in team as best he could, whereupon the killers in SWAT uniforms — fat-assed cowards and clowns all of them — fired on him, killing the 107 year old man.

And that’s the end of this particular American life story.
